Just over a year after becoming a father for the first time, Lee Seon-kyun, aka Chep, aka Mr. Voice, has announced that he and wife (actress Jeon Hye-jin) are expecting their second child.

As of the New Year’s Eve announcement by Lee’s management, Jeon is currently seven weeks pregnant and healthy. Their first child was born in November 2009, a son, just before shooting his drama hit early last year (last year!), workplace romantic-comedy Pasta. Prior to that, he was busy working on the drama Triple when he married, and now he’s busy filming King of Arrests, a comedy with Haeundae’s Park Joong-hoon.

And that’s on top of the bazillion projects he was involved in in the meantime, like a Drama Special segment with Hwang Woo-seul-hye, Oki’s Movie with Jung Yumi, Petty Romance with Choi Kang-hee… will the man never rest?

A tuition teacher who celebrated his 21st birthday several days ago fell to his death from a five-storey building in Perak Road

Teacher falls to his death after turning 21

GEORGE TOWN: A tuition teacher who celebrated his 21st birthday several days ago fell to his death from a five-storey building in Perak Road here.

Lim Chee Hwa of Johor Baru was found sprawled in a pool of blood in the 9.50pm incident on Sunday.

Lim Chee Hwa

He had just conducted a lesson at a tuition centre located at the building before his death.

It was learnt that prior to the incident, several colleagues and firemen had rushed to the top of the building to persuade Lim to come down.

His brother Chee Chin, 26, said Chee Hwa had just celebrated his birthday on Dec 29.

He said his brother became a tuition teacher after completing his SPM examination.

“Although Chee Hwa could have continued to study at a university, he decided to teach at the centre instead.

“He joined the centre in Johor three years ago before coming here a year ago.

“He spoke to me about four days ago, saying that he wanted to return to Johor, but could not as the bus tickets were sold out,” said Chee Chin.

Chee Chin said his brother never told his family about his personal problems.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng said the case has been classified as sudden death.

Chee Hwa’s colleagues and students cried uncontrollably at the scene and refused to accept that he had died.

The body was later sent to the Penang Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.

Magic pythons' married to bring luck

Hundreds of villagers in Svay Rolum, Cambodia have flocked to a wedding ceremony between a 16-foot (4.8-metre), 200-pound (90-kilogram) female python and her slightly smaller snake mate.

Fortunetellers believe the pythons are magic snakes that bring prosperity and peace to the village.

The two-hour ceremony on Monday ended with two Buddhist monks blessing the snake couple as villagers showered them with flowers and wedding music played.

Cambodians, who are mostly Buddhists, also subscribe to animism - a belief that spirits can inhabit all sorts of living and inanimate objects.

Whenever an odd animal makes an appearance, it is cause for the superstitious to celebrate.

An Aussie claims to have spotted his missing wife on a BBC One show, Antiques Roadshow - almost 30 years after she mysteriously disappeared

Missing wife spotted on hit TV show

An Aussie claims to have spotted his missing wife on a BBC One show, Antiques Roadshow - almost 30 years after she mysteriously disappeared.

Lynette Dawson, a mother of two, vanished from Sydney in 1982 and was presumed dead by authorities, despite her body never being found.

Her ex-husband Chris Dawson now claims that a woman he's seen on an edition of Antiques Roadshow filmed in Padstow, Cornwall in England was his former wife.

Dawson, who has since remarried, saw the mysterious woman after a friend recorded the programme for him, reports the Cornish Guardian.

In an email to his daughter, Dawson said: "The likeness to your mum is uncanny. It has given us a strong sense of hope that at last her whereabouts may be known."

However, his sister-in-law Patricia Jenkins does not believe that the woman is Lynette.

"There is no way this is my sister. Just the clothes tell me it's not her. She would never wear anything frilly or lacy. I have compared the jaw line and nose," Patricia said.

"Lyn came from a loving family and her disappearance left her adored daughters, who were two and four at the time, to grow up never knowing their mother or their mother's love."

Patricia is calling on anyone who may know the mystery woman to come forward with information.

"We want to put this desperate claim to rest. Any information would help. How long have you known her? Do you know her family?" she said.

"Does she have an Australian accent? All this would be such a help to us. Everyone in the family believes she is dead, it's just a horrible reality."

Man kills parents and brother - A Taiwanese man, who felt that his parents were closer to his two brothers, planned to kill his family for 13 years

Man kills parents and brother

A Taiwanese man, who felt that his parents were closer to his two brothers, had planned to kill his family for 13 years.

The 27-year-old man, surnamed Huang, thought that his younger brother - a soldier - would return home for the New Year, thus he decided to carry out the plan around that time.

He first bought a knife.

Although he found out later that his younger brother had to stay back at the army camp, he continued with his plan.

Huang shared a room with his elder brother at their home in Pingtung, Taiwan.

Just before dawn on Sunday, he stabbed his elder brother to death while his was sleeping.

His parents, who were awakened by screams went to check and saw the stabbing.

Huang's father tried to stop him, but was stabbed twice.

His mother, who was trying to telephone the police, was also attacked.

The elder brother and mother died while his father is being treated at the intensive care wad in the hospital.

Police, upon receiving a distress call from a neighbour, rushed to the scene.

They arrested Huang, who was sitting motionless on the floor at a corner of the kitchen.

Police said the suspect had planned to kill his family when he was in secondary school.

"He felt that the parents only cared for and loved his two brothers."

He was also upset that his parents had been grumbling about him after he lost his job recently, police said.

"I have been waiting for this day for a long time," Huang told the police, and showed no regrets.

A Florida man says he's going to spend the next month living in a fenced enclosure with two African lions

Man to live with lions for a month

A Florida man says he's going to spend the next month living in a fenced enclosure with two African lions.

James Jablon of Spring Hill told WTSP-TV that he hopes the stunt will raise money for his wildlife centre, Wildlife Rehabilitation of Hernando.

Jablon entered the lions' den Saturday. He says he's going to sleep on hay near the lions, named Lea and Ed, and eat when they eat.

He says he's also going to build a place to sleep and hide in the trees in the enclosure, in case the lions fight with each other. His adventure is being streamed live online through Jan. 31.

About 100 animals live at the center about 40 miles (65 kilometers) north of Tampa. It was started for native wildlife needing medical treatment, but Jablon says he's now being asked to provide homes for exotic pets. - AP
