Where to eat in Kota Kinabalu - Some of the places to eat in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Sabah, The Land Below The Wind, is famous with its delicious seafood. Your journey to Sabah is not complete if do not have a try of their wide variety of seafood. All of the restaurants that is shown here provides live creatures - fishes, crabs, prawns and lobster in aquariums - all are alive and you have a choice to choose which one you would like to eat. All of the restaurants are in Kota Kinabalu city, means that you do not have to take any transport to the place. You can just walk to the place, mostly about 10 to 20 minutes away from most of the hotels in the city.

* Sabah Vege
* Butter prawn
* Deep fry soft shell crab
* Chinese tea (for drinks)
* Coconut pudding for dessert

Ocean Seafood Village

Situated in Kota Kinabalu city, have a wide variety of seafood. Very nice wooden architecture, more 'kampung' (village) ambiance. They have VIP rooms also (with air condition). Try to have what they call it 'Sabah Vege' (for Sabah Vegetables). They really serves lip smacking dishes.

Situated in Kota Kinabalu Waterfront in the heart of Kota Kinabalu city. They provide modern ambiance with the scenery of the Gaya Island and South China sea. Try their mouth watering coconut pudding. All the seafood are fresh and you can even smell the ocean while you eat.

Situated slightly further away at the outskirt of Kota Kinabalu city and very close to the city's ferry terminal, this restaurants also provide very nice seafood. You might have to walk about 20 minutes to get there from the heart of the city.
