A set of fraternal twins was born in Rockford, Illinois, USA. However, the twins don't share the same birthdate and birth year.

Ashley Fansler first gave birth to her daughter, Madisen Carin at 11:59pm on Dec 31, 2010. Then a minute later, Jan 1, 2011 at 12am, her twin brother, Aiden Everette, was born.

The proud father, Brandon Lewis, was beside his partner while giving birth. "When they first came out, I was sitting there next to her, holding her hand. I got really numb, my arms were numb all over, and I was sweating," he said.

The twins were delivered at Rockford Memorial Hospital via caesarean section. It was a choice offered by their doctor to have distinctive birthday for each baby because of the unique timing, so the parents decided to take this rare opportunity.

"It was definitely worth the wait," said Fansler.
