IPOH: A pair of twin sisters and their friend are missing after supposedly visiting friends on the second day of Hari Raya.
The twins mother, Harliza Samah, said 14-year-old Nurulashiqin and Nurulain Kamarazmi had not returned since leaving their home in Taman Sentosa, Kampar at 11am on Saturday.
”They just said they were going to meet friends but did not say where they were going.
”I got worried when they did not return at 7pm that day and lodged a police report at 11pm,” Harliza said yesterday.
Since then, the 44-year-old housewife said she had been trying to call her daughters on their mobile phones but to no avail.
Harliza said she had no idea who her daughters had been with.
Confirming that a police report had been lodged, Kampar OCPD Supt Abdul Aziz Salleh said the other missing girl, Suhaily Abdul Razak, also 14, was from the same housing estate.
”We are still investigating the matter and trying to locate the girls,” he said.
Police had yet to ascertain if the girls had run away or were being held against their will.
