Jaclyn is psyched about new album

Super-singer Jaclyn Victor is all psyched up about her new album with pop diva Ning Baizura and Shila, a finalist in the popular singing reality show, One in a Million.
“It’s not just me featuring them or them featuring me in one or two tracks. All three of us will sing in every song. That’s why the album is called Tiga Suara (Three voices),” Victor reveals.
Victor, who shot to fame after winning the inaugural Malaysian Idol competition in 2004, describes the album as “contemporary and pop-based. It’s quite a happy album.”
“There’ll be a mix of Malay and English songs,” she adds.
“One of the tracks, Mengenangmu (Remembering you), is dedicated to the late Yasmin Ahmad (famed local filmmaker) and everyone in the music world who we’ve lost.”
“One of my favourite tracks on the album besides Mengenangmu is Beribu Sesalan (A thousand regrets),” the spunky 32-year-old shares. “But I have no regrets.”
“We also have Noraniza Idris on the album. She’s known for ethnic beats. I like to experiment,” says Victor.
Tiga Suara is set for a January 6 release next year.
