Three nabbed in connection with case of woman thrown out of vehicle
PORT DICKSON: Police recently detained three men in the vicinity of Port Dickson town in connection with the case of a woman, who was believed to have been injured after being thrown out of a vehicle at a traffic light junction in Lukut, earlier this month.
According to Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Osman Salleh, the suspects were aged between 20 and 30 and the case involved a broken promise, but did not elaborate.
"The woman, believed to be from China, was not raped, but there were indications that she had just had sex before she was flung out of the car," he told Bernama.
The victim, who had been in a coma for several days, is now able to speak and is being treated at the Seremban Hospital.
In another case, where a woman was stabbed to death by her son in Kuala Pilah last Saturday, Osman said the suspect is being held in the mental ward.
"The suspect has been treated for mental disorder in the past so his action could have been due to his failure to take his medication. A normal human being would not do such a thing," he said.
He urged the public to ensure that family members with a history of mental disorder took their medication on time to avoid untoward incidents.
In the incident, Jemelah Muhamad, 53, died after being stabbed by her 28-year-old son in their house at Felda Kepis, about 25km from Kuala Pilah. - Bernama
