Trader wants daughter-in-law and grandson to come home
GEORGE TOWN: A trader is urging for the return of her Thai daughter-in-law and grandson who disappeared six days ago.
Tung Siew Luan, 49, said she feared for the safety of both as her daughter-in-law Siriporn Oujanda, 38, did not have any means of support.
“Siriporn, who we call ‘Anne’, is from Buri Ram in Thailand and has stayed with me here since her marriage to my late son in 2007.
“Even after my son died of illness in August 2009, both she and my grandson Dylan Tung Ming Wai, three, stayed with me in my apartment in Jalan Gangsa,” she said.
Tung said Siriporn and Ming Wai had gone missing from the apartment on Sunday.
Two days later, she discovered RM690 missing from a drawer in the apartment along with her son’s marriage certificate, death certificate, Ming Wai’s birth certificate and passport.
She expressed surprise that Siriporn had run away as there had been no argument before she disappeared.
Seri Delima assemblyman R.S.N. Rayer, who is assisting Tung, urged Siriporn to contact him at 019-413 2681 or 04-659 5611 or call the family at 016-434 5640.
