Both 28 years old, the longtime boyfriend-girlfriend officially announced their engagement on Tuesday, November 16, 2010.
In the morning, it was Prince William’s Clarence House office who made the announcement and it said that the wedding of the Prince and girlfriend Kate Middleton is set in Spring or Summer of 2011, as reported by BBC News.
Later that day, the newly-engaged couple appeared to the media and they shared that the marriage proposal was made when they were vacation in Kenya last October.
Prince William and Kate Middleton also revealed the precious engagement ring, a blue sapphire and diamond ring which happens to be the engagement ring given by Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, to his mom, Princess Diana.
